Adding your Bio Site to Instagram: A Step-by-Step Guide

Once you’ve built your Bio Site, it’s time to add the link to your Instagram bio. Follow these simple steps.

How to copy your Bio Site URL

On mobile

Step 1: Open your Unfold App

Step 2: Tap the Bio Sites tab

Step 3: Select your Bio Site

Step 4: Tap the three dots next to your Bio Site URL and then “Share”

Step 5: Tap “Add to Bio” and then “Instagram”. This will copy the URL and open the Instagram app.

On desktop

Step 1: Log in to Bio Sites web editor

Step 2: Click the Share button in the top right hand corner

Step 3: Next to your Bio Site URL, click the copy symbol

How to put a link in your Instagram bio

You can no longer add a link in your Instagram bio on desktop, only through the Instagram app. So these instructions are for mobile only.

Step 1: Go to your Instagram profile

Step 2: Tap Edit Profile

Step 3: Choose Links from the menu

Step 4: Go to Add external link

Step 5: Tap once and select Paste

Step 6: Add a title or leave unnamed

Step 7: Tap Done

And that’s how to add a Bio Site link to your Instagram bio. If you change your Bio Site URL, follow the same steps again to update your link on Instagram.
